During my graduate thesis, I investigated teaching medical professionals various processes through the use of mobile applications. The research studied design elements (optimal colors, typography, and illustration style) for the screen sizes and resolutions in question. In partnership with Harvard’s Human Systems Explorer Project I built an application that could be downloaded onto handheld devices such as Blackberries or Palm Pilots. The program below focused on Lumbar Punctures.

3D Animation

Created with 3D Studio Max and edited with Premier Pro, the below video is for a 3D animation project. Volvox is a green algae studied in many general biology courses; it’s a colony that reproduces asexually within itself. Learn more here if you’re curious. Visualizations always make class lectures easier- hence, the following animation.
